With at least sixty-five years playing experience between them, Gary Lothian, Nicholas Churkin, long time members of The King Bees, James T & The Last Volunteers and Cyril B Bunter Band, recently felt the time was right to branch out and pursue the Swamphouse project.
The original concept of performing as a duo and recording Swamp & Circumstance, was well received with continuing sales & acclaim.
However, a decision in 2008 to add double/electric bassist Mike Rix, one of Sydney’s finest & in demand players, has resulted in a stronger, fatter, more versatile sound.
So sink a couple, strap on your dancing shoes, take your marks and Git to Boogie.
